How I made 2371USD in 2 days by investing 15USD in forex trading.(the true history of a naive investor)
During this pandemic time and the pressure from social media telling you “hey loser you have to invest, let me teach you how” we feel the need of saving ourselves and everyone that we loves from a financial crises with little financial education but with pocket and heart full of hope to make money from our investment and quicker the return the better it is.
In 2016 as an international student in the Republic of South Africa I saw an advertisement on a web site saying “find out how this 20 years old boy from South Africa made millions”, as curios as I am I clicked on the advertisement and it took me to a forex online trading platform, and then I did a very basic research about this new discover and I was happy because I found a way to make millions while I am sleeping.

The first investment
After couple of months, I had invested 300usd which I was supposed to pay my school fees within 5 days I lost the money I can say that it just vanished like air from my hands, I thought I had done enough research but the only thing I had researched was how to sell, buy and close positions those are the only things I had research not because I was lazy but because the social media algorithm was showing me too much of “rich forex trader” and I end up losing the focus and following the hype and the scheme of get rich quick and easily.

“ DYOR make this acronym your mantra, DYOR = Do You Own Research I am not talking about watching two videos from a wannabe guru on youtube, I am talking about you reading books and all kind of material that can make understanding the difference between get rich quick and long term investment”
The second investment
For this time I took a break of at least some weeks lets say a month I did some research but still a novice and with the wrong hunger stead of be hungry for knowledge was hungry for revenge I didn’t know the old saying “the market never lose on the revenge game” (I just made it up) but it is true. So this time I found myself a wannabe mentor I paid him 150 USD to teach me how to draw a line and some information that with a little more of patience I was found in the internet, I was happy like I found a gold mine, on the following day I funded my trading account with 250usd I believe that by now you already know the outcome, yes I lost everything on the third day. I was disappointed with myself at this stage.
Tip
- Although knowledge is directly correlated with power, but it is your obligation to chase it and transform it into power in own fashion way.
- If it is that good and easy as they make it sound, bad news it doesn’t exist.
The third investment
You might be expecting a wise guy and full of experience and ready to make millions overnight this time, I can say yes, I was better than ever before this time a made deposit of 17 pound and in three days I turned it into 300 pound, you have no idea how it felt I had beat the market, just this achievement was enough to boost my confidence as a trader, but don’t be too happy for me because on the second day I blew my account.
I did some more research and I invested 250 USD on my other account and in two days I turned it to 2021 USD, but before this event I made 200 usd from 10 usd and I withdraw 50% and the remain I blow has well, going back to history of 2021 USD I am tired of telling the sad ends I will let you to conclude.
